Registration

Conference fees

  • All fees are in JPY.
  • Advanced registration deadline is April 27, 2009 (Japan Standard Time).
  • Student registration: all students may benefit the reduced fee (they do not need to be an IEEE member) but they will have to submit a copy of their student card or ID to proof their status.
  • Unemployed IEEE members, retired and Life members may register for the conference with the same reduced fees as students.
  • Rehabilitation staffs, such as occupational therapists, physiotherapists, social workers, rehabilitation engineers, and psychologists, and rehabilitation robot users will be invited as VIPs with the IEEE member registration fees to promote discussion from clinical and practical points of view, even if they are not members.

  • All registration includes: registration kit, conference USB proceeding, coffee breaks, lunches, and Gala dinner.
  • If you have completed your registration payment and are unable to attend, you are eligible for a 100% refund of your registration fee until April 27, 2009, and for a 50% refund until June 1, 2009. A bank transfer charge will be deducted from the refunding amount. Your registration fee is non-refundable after 1 June, 2009.
  • At least one author of papers will be required to register for the conference. Registration fees for "corresponding authors" are non-refundable after April 27, 2009.
  • Once registration is complete a confirmation email will be sent to you. If you do not receive this email within 24 hours after registration, please send email to the secratariat (secretariat 'at' icorr2009.org).

  • A one-day registration allows to attend any workshop/tutorial of the day. It includes coffee breaks, registration kit and a copy of the Workshops proceedings, but excludes lunch.
  • Note : workshop/tutorial speakers are required to register at least to their workshop (we have no external support for the workshops and have favored them by fixing minimal fees). If they plan to attend the conference, then they must also register to the conference.

    Note about the bank transfer
  • Before you make your conference registration payment via bank transfer, you should make registration via on-line and receive a registration ID from a confirmation e-mail. The registration ID should be written on the bank transfer form, or a copy of the receipt should be faxed to the secretariat (+81-77-561-2665).
  • You will be responsible for any additional fees associated with the bank transfer.

VISA
For participants requiring a visa, an invitation letter will be obtained by sending an email to the secretariat (secretariat 'at' icorr2009.org) with "VISA letter" as a subject of the email as soon as the submition of the final papers and registration have been completed. This email must include your names, affiliation, registration ID (as provided by the registration process) and eventually the title of your contribution.
